Objectives

Acting as the voice of the wind industry, WindEurope has over 400 members active in more than 35 countries and actively promotes wind power in Europe and worldwide.

From its central office in Belgium, WindEurope regularly organises numerous events, ranging from conferences, exhibitions, and launches to seminars and workshops. These encourage the exchange of international experience on policy, finance and technical developments, and provide the ideal forum in which to showcase the latest technology.

The events team were looking for a smart solution that would aid them in delivering attendee registration for members and exhibitors plus a platform that would improve efficiencies in delivery onsite operations across their event portfolio.

Why D2i Systems

D2i Systems were the perfect event technology solution for the WindEurope team. Our experience in working with association and membership organisations such as UCAS meant that our team and technology were ideal for supporting their business.

In addition, our platform’s capability allows teams to run international events making it flexible enough to handle the intricacies of any country – perfect for the peripatetic nature of the WindEurope exhibition cycle.

Results

The Engage Platform by D2i is used by the events team to manage delegate and exhibitor registration plus the onsite delivery solutions for WindEurope’s largest bi-annual exhibitions which attracts over 7,000 attendees plus three conferences taking place in Amsterdam, Brussels and Leuven.

Engage not only improved the customer experience but also streamlined the registration and sales processes making for greater end results.
